some people’s blogs are being incorrectly flagged as being explicit so if you would like to check your status, you can look it up on postlimit.com.
if you have been incorrectly marked as nsfw, you can appeal before tumblr permanently filters you as such and your blog is set back to default settings prior to december 18th here.
Single most helpful post on this hellscape. I found that my blog was indeed flagged as explicit—THEY BLURRED MY FUCKING UNICORN FFS!!!!! And I sent in my request for review. We will see what turns up.
Your unicorn has a rainbow in the background. Just saying… Like, I know I sound like I’m donning a tinfoil hat, but after so many posts have been flagged that had not even a picture, but only words like “gay” or “AIDS” or other lgbtqia+ related words, it makes you wonder.
It does indeed make me wonder. Especially regarding the flagging of chronic pain and top surgery related tags—I just don’t know wtf they’re thinking. I know it’s an algorithm going through and flagging shit with key words and images, but it’s clearly a very rushed attempt and it comes off as arbitrary at times and all too specific at others.
Right? Like, at some times it comes off as if that AI is just flagging anything and everything that has the pixels/shading/whatever it was taught to recognise as “porn” – including clothed people, mushrooms, and modern art consisting of rectangles.
And then at other times it’s super super specific, namely when it’s lgbtqia+ content.
A compilation of stuff I know about drawing Asian faces and Asian culture! I feel like many “How-To-Draw” tutorials often default to European faces and are not really helpful when drawing people of other races. So I thought I’d put this together in case anyone is interested! Feel free to share this guide and shoot me questions if you have any! I’m by no means an expert, I just know a few things from drawing experience and from my own cultural background.
Yeah, as with so many things in life “carnivore” and “herbivore” aren’t strict – after all, they’re just categories humans came up with. Some animals are indeed pure (”obligate”) herbivores; some indeed are pure (”obligate”) carnivores.
There’s a whole scale in between though, ranging from something like deer (which eat almost only plants with some meat) to bears (which eat mostly plants but a healthy amount of meat) through raccoons, tigers, etc.
In fact, there are very few true obligate herbivore tetrapods – the things that come to mind, like pandas, manatees, etc, all will eat meat. The only truly obligate herbivores I can think of offhand are three-toed sloths and koalas (though I’m sure there are more).
There are many more obligate carnivores – this makes sense, since meat is much easier to extract nutrients from than plants are. An animal that can digest plants will probably be able to digest meat, but not necessarily the other way around.
i’m nonbinary and that means during the war of the sexes i get to sit on the sidelines and eat popcorn
My entire elementary school had two separate Boy v. Girl wars and in both of them I fought for both sides cause I didn’t really see the point I just liked fighting
And I mean even if Alex were definitively a girl, the original post never specified they were a couple. They could’ve been a gay man and his lesbian best friend.
