My old roommates were like, SSBB ultimate pros, and they played by all these stupid rules (character limits, no items, “you can’t use that character, they’re not good!”) And it was. Zero fun at all. They beat me in seconds and then would just duke it out with each other. Let me play Dark Pit and lob pokeballs across the screen!!!
!!!amen to that! the most fun I’ve ever had with a videogame was letting two drunken friends who never played it have at go at mario kart. They spent a solid ¾ minutes stuck on the track without moving and eventually we realized they had been looking each one at eachother’s piece of screen
