Oh man, that’s awful. I hate the fact that there’s so much of that shit out there. Also this is yet more proof how laughable it is that so many of these people will swear blind they’re only against the ‘cishet’ ace and aro people, and ignore the fact that anti aspec sentiment affects all of us, including the gay and lesbian aspecs, bi aspecs, trans aspecs, pan aspecs, etc that they claim to accept.

I’m so sorry that you had such a bad experience this pride month. I’ve been much luckier, mostly because of how rigorous I am about vetting the blogs I follow for anti-aspec content, and blacklisting di///scourse tags, but even then I’ve come across the occasional post that’s made me cringe. All I can recommend is to surround yourself with positive ace and aro blogs and try and block anyone who brings dis////course onto your dash.
