Anyone else think that vague, panicky posts about how Things Are Bad and people need to Do Something About It are completely useless if they don’t say what it is people should do about it?
It’s not necessarily fearmongering, because that’s when the thing being yelled about isn’t true or is exaggerated. But it’s not really productive. And I get that it isn’t always clear what needs to be done. But in that case, don’t get salty about people deciding not to share a post that does nothing except vaguely tell people to ‘take action’, whatever that’s supposed to mean.
